DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Tokyo Boys, a delightful Japanese restaurant located at 375 N Stephanie St, UNIT 311, Henderson, NV. If you're yearning for an authentic taste of Japan, this is the place to be. From the moment you step inside, the warm greeting of irasshaimase welcomes you to an atmosphere that feels both cozy and nostalgic, reminiscent of a vintage diner.

Boasting an impressive menu, Tokyo Boys has quickly made a name for itself among locals and visitors alike. Guests rave about the fried Karaage and Katsu—crispy and light, they are often deemed the best in town. The teriyaki salmon is another standout, cooked to perfection and glazed ever so lightly, offering a delightful combination of flavors that sushi enthusiasts crave.

The chirashi bowl has garnered high praise from visitors, including those traveling from afar. Many diners express their surprise at discovering such quality sushi and traditional dishes right in Henderson. As Nicholas Lascola attests, the sushi here is “breathtaking” and “mouthwatering,” featuring fresh ingredients sourced from notable regions like Kagoshima and Ehime. Each bite is not only about flavor but also about the experience of dining, with chef Hiro San steering the culinary journey beautifully.

If you're up for an adventure, the omakase menu is highly recommended. It enhances the dining experience significantly, allowing patrons to enjoy chef-curated dishes such as top-tier wagyu, miso cod, and even luxurious uni and jellyfish. Carol Lamartine perfectly captured the essence of this experience, calling it a “gift” to indulge in. Whether you choose a la carte or opt for the omakase, you’ll find options that can even accommodate gluten-free needs.

The ambiance at Tokyo Boys fosters a sense of community. With multiple seating areas, including traditional booths and sushi bar seating, it’s a perfect spot for a solo dining retreat or a gathering with friends. Bonus: they also keep you entertained with games on TV, making it a fun and casual eatery.

Lastly, let’s not forget the desserts! With unique offerings like matcha brulee and black sesame panna cotta, it’s a sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Join the growing ranks of those who have found their favorite sushi bar—come to Tokyo Boys, and prepare to be impressed. As the locals say, this gem is worth the drive, and it just might become your new culinary obsession!

Honestly I'm at a loss for words. The food here is absolutely incredible. Far and away the best fried Karaage and Katsu I've had in town for years. Amazingly light and crispy without a hint of grease. Teriyaki salmon is a must have, perfectly cooked and lightly glazed. Service was fast and the beer was cold so there's absolutely nothing to complain about, I'll be recommending this place to anyone and everyone. If you're not in Henderson it's definitely worth the drive!

In town for the weekend from Chicago. Drove out from the strip and it was worth my time and money. Highly recommend the chirashi bowl! Everything else we ordered was delicious too.

Oh wow.. I’m so glad I tried this place!!! I’ve been sleeping on Tokyo boys for a few years now and I finally gave them a shot. Huge win!! As a Henderson local, I am proud to say I’ve found my favorite sushi bar across town. Big shout out to chef HIRO San and his team. Arigato gozaimasu!!! From the outside the place looks like an old school 50s diner and it probably was at some point. On the inside you are instantly greeted with a warm irasshaimase welcome. The place is clean, multiple tables, old school booths and large sushi bar seating, clean restrooms and plenty of dining room options. With NBA playoffs on, the TVs were a nice touch. At the time I was dining solo and was very comfortable. The sushi quality was amazing, breathtaking, even mouthwatering as you lust on your next bite. Spot on quality with sources such as Kagoshima and ehime. Thank you for the Bluefin and kanpachi. Had several bites of sushi, couple of rolls and finished with a delicious matcha brulee and black sesame panna cotta. I highly recommend taking a trip over to Henderson just to check this place out and enjoy your time as the Tokyo boys cater the experience. Arigato gozaimasu!!!

Please give yourself a gift and do the omakase menu on the counter with chef Hiro! Fish forward, real sushi, great food presentation, and conversation with the chef. The best Japanese wagyu, miso cod, uni, and jellyfish ever! Totally worth the money. The a la carte menu is also great and they can accommodate gluten free needs in some dishes. Plus you can’t beat the atmosphere of being in a diner having sushi!

We came here for the Omakase since we recently met the chef himself so we decided to pay him a visit. This is truly a great Omakase experience other than higher end ones. The reason it's so different is because the main focus is on the food and nothing extra like plating. You get to focus on all types of quality nigiri and you leave here full. Each nigiri was well crafted and amazing and is worth the price.

2024Nov19Wed: It’s my wife’s birthday and she’s craving for some Japanese food- and this place did not disappoint!! Another good find in our Henderson neighborhood for an authentic family restaurant operated by Owner/Chef Hirofumi Miyoshi. Not an AYCE place but each ala carte order is meticulously prepared by Chef Hiro with the freshest fish and seafood of highest quality along with other elevated ingredients. Looking forward to our next visit and try chef’s Omakase offering. A definite gem that will be in our rotation !!!!
